Sunbeams

• Today (Thursday) CAC is hosting a game of “screaming bingo” where those who enter play a rousing game at CDC-recommended safe distance.  Finally, it’s acceptable to scream in public, and we might even win a gift card! 
• With all this time at home, there’s finally enough time to start some new hobbies. Too bad we’re also procrastinating on that. 
• With Zoom classes, our pets can finally come to class with us. My cat has been auditing at least 14 credits and is somehow getting a better grade than me. 

Stormclouds

• EMU announced this week that students will not be returning to campus for classes this semester. Well, darn. I left my houseplant in the dorms when I sprinted out the door. RIP, my love. 
• As of now, there will also be no in-person commencement this year, though plans could change. But Seniors spent $40 dollars on caps and gowns, so they gotta do the grad walk somewhere. Even if it’s just from the couch to the fridge. 
• States are beginning to start Shelter in Place orders. Accept the government-mandated “me time” and STAY HOME.
