Using the Color Orange
College students can use the color orange for better focus on studying/doing assignments. Physiology says when looking at the color orange it gives your brain energy to be more productive. This is true because when studying I have a small LED light, and looking at the color orange when doing an assignment or while studying, keeps me more focused on the work at that set time. If you want to implement this in your daily life, using a small LED light or having an orange item will do the trick. A tip that I would give when trying this out is to only turn the LED light or look at the orange item when you are doing an assignment or studying so it trains your brain to focus better.
Using a Timer
College students can use a timer for better focus on studying/doing assignments. The way I would describe when using a timer is I set a timer either on my cooking timer or phone for 60 minutes to an hour. Then, within that hour I am doing an assignment or studying. After the time is done, I set a timer for 30 minutes to take a break, do spiritual hobbies/ hobbies/ and relax. Lastly, I repeat the whole process until I am done with my assignments or studying. If you are a student who gets distracted by your phone, buy yourself a cooking timer for doing assignments or studying. It takes time to get used to, but you will get used to it the more you use it.
Using Lo-Fi Music
College students can use Lofi music to better focus on studying/assignments. Physiology says that listening to calm music with no words can enhance your studying or help focus better when doing assignments. This is true because there are times when I want to feel lazy when I should be doing work, so I turn on my orange LED light, set my timer, and Lo-Fi Music, which helps me better focus when studying and doing assignments. Lofi Music can be found on Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music. The creator’s name is Lofi, and he has various types of calm music, like Christian Study Music, Regular Study Music, Sleeping Music, and more.
