Is there a way out? Well, you are already out! You were never trapped in the first place.

The opinions that feel like they’re going to destroy the world made many people feel trapped. The news that makes the world look like the most horrific place for living made people feel unable to do anything in order to create the reality they desired.

Yet in the same reality, we are free. Our lives are nothing but different perspectives of life itself. Our lives will be so much better the moment we realize that everyone around us is doing the best they can to make this world a better place, regardless of what we think of them.

I once believed that my goal was to change other people’s perspectives so I could be happy. But the more I started changing and realizing the amount of stupidity my beliefs held, I was very thankful that each person had a different perspective. Every one of us brings millions of possibilities to this world.

I think of life as a huge puzzle, and every soul represents a piece. If you know anything about puzzles, you know that every piece will lead to a different piece until the whole picture is completed. This is why we are not trapped in any way—we are just filling our places in this puzzle.

It’s all about perspective to see this world as a place that has countless beautiful experiences, or a scary jungle where death is waiting for you in every corner. A very cliché question to ask yourself is this: If the whole world ends today, how do I want to leave this world? In which job, in which place, and with whom would I be? How do I want to feel? What do I want to eat before I leave? Did I see enough trees? Did I fall in love? Did I experience life to the fullest?

Life is short, but it’s unlimited. The only thing that makes it seem like a living hell is our thoughts. A lovely friend told me that her favorite verse in the bible is, “The truth will set you free.” This becomes my reference whenever I get introduced to a new idea. I would love it if you, too, would ask yourself: Is what I am hearing making me free?
