Baseball

The baseball team continues to struggle as they lost a tough one to Shenandoah University 11-10. Junior Daniel Scott went 3-4 with his third home run of the year. With the loss, the Diamond Royals are now 11-23 overall and 2-13 in the conference. The team’s next game is this weekend when they host Hampden-Sydney.

Softball

The softball team fought hard against Bridgewater College, splitting the doubleheader with a 5-4 in nine innings while winning the nightcap 3-2. The Lady Royals are now 19-15 on the season and 7-11 in the conference. The team’s next games are this weekend at Averett.
